Josette and Holly decided to sign up for the Big Swim on January 1st, 2015 after the Polar Bear Dip. We think our brains were frozen!!!!  We have been friends for 4 1/2 years, meeting while volunteering with POMBA - Parents of Multiple Births Association.

 

Holly and Nancy met when Georgia, Rori and Tayler were in swim lessons. Along with the girls learning to swim, their families have become friends. All 3 girls go to preschool together.  Nancy's older daughter often joins the trio for fun and friendship. Nancy signed up to do the Big Swim in April,deciding Holly might be crazy and she wanted to join in on the fun!

Our families think we are crazy! They may be right!

P.S. Holly also recruited a long time friend, Dale, who lives in NB. Dale recruited a friend to have a local training pal.  Lots of Mermaid Mamas training for the Big Big Swim!
